The Logos Institute’s chairman invited to speak by the French General Assembly

On the 12^th of April, dr Tymoteusz Zych, the Chairman of the Board of the Logos Institute, was invited by the representatives of the French National Assembly to speak before a EU working group dedicated to the issues of European values, rule of law, and democracy as one of three expert speakers. Alongside dr Zych, the other two speakers were: prof. Céline Spector, a political philosophy researcher from the Sorbonne and author of the book “No demos, sovereignty and democracy put to the test of Europe“, as well as Ms. Kriszta Kovács, representative of the WZB Berlin Social Science Center (Global Constitutionalism Center). The audience of the lecture was comprised of ca. 40 parliamentarians of all 27 member states of the EU. The event itself was a good platform for conducting a lively debate between the speakers who held different opinions on many of the subjects discussed. Speeches presented during the session were received very enthusiastically by both organisers and the participants.
