"Logos" means both "word" and "reason" in ancient Greek. Today, in public debate, words are not always spoken in a way that serves to reach reasonable conclusions. Discussions are hampered by two negative phenomena. On the one hand, these are defective canons of correctness that restrict freedom of expression and scientific research. On the other, ideological dogmas that invariably obscure reality. In such a world, a voice of reason and a new space for rational debate are especially needed. For a mature democracy, professional analytical facilities of public life are of key importance, which, regardless of the changing political circumstances, allows for setting long-term goals and reviewing the activities of the government. This is why the Logos is created. Its creators set themselves the following tasks:
Creating strategic analyzes and expert opinions in the field of law and public policies. The materials developed will always be characterized by a reliable scientific workshop, independence of assessment and the adoption of a constant point of reference in the form of the perspective of the common good and civil liberties.
Reliably influencing the public debate by participating in discussions in traditional and social media. The distinguishing feature of the new think-tank will be the extensive communication involvement not only of the organization's leaders, but also of a large group of experts. The message will be addressed in particular to young people, breaking intellectual clichés and barriers that hinder the reception of content on key social issues.
Creation of an international network of analytical cooperation, which will allow for a cyclical assessment of policies created by European Union institutions and international bodies, and to present reliable knowledge about the situation in Poland and the achievements of our country on international forums and in the world's most important media
