Dr r. pr. Tymoteusz Zych

Chairman of the Board

Tymoteusz Zych – legal advisor, doctor of law. Member of the European Economic and Social Committee, where he works in the Competition and Common Market Section and the Group on Fundamental Rights and the Rule of Law.

Author of publications on administrative law in administrative law, human and civil rights, administrative law and economic law. They complement the drafting of legal accounts, legal consultations, court and judicial consultations. He prepared analyzes and applications at the request of, inter alia, The Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the Monitoring Committee of the Council of Europe, the US Department of State, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Senate of the Republic of Poland. His authorship has been repeatedly cited by the Court of Human Rights.

PhD and MA thesis at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. His doctoral dissertation devoted to comparative law was awarded in the “Monographs” competition of the Foundation for Polish Science. He also graduated from inter-university interdisciplinary studies at the Artes Liberales Academy. He lectured, among others at the University of Warsaw, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and Collegium Intermarium. He cooperated with numerous law firms, in 2016-2021 as an off counsel at Parchimowicz & Kwaśniewski.

Legal specialist in the field of foundations and civil society. He was a co-founder of the Confederation of Non-Governmental Initiatives, founders of an organization representing civil society in Poland. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Council of the National Institute of Freedom.

He has a great deal as a manager in the sector. In 2017-2021, she was the vice president of the Ordo Iuris Foundation, where he oversaw the program of analyzing how to manage the intervention process. In 2017-2022, he headed the Center for Legal, Economic and Social Analyzes Hipolit Cegielski, where he was responsible for creating reports on the creation of interdisciplinary and analyzes. Currently, he is coordinating the work at the Logos think-tank.

Substitute member of the European Economic and Social Committee. She gained experience in think tanks and scientific institutes.
